There will still be a Market Mechanism in place within both Equal Money Capitalism and Equal Money. The Market Mechanism in place within Equal Money will merely replace the variables that the drive Supply and Demand in a way that actually benefits Human Life and the Planet as a whole. The Market Mechanism will thus be an holistic / ecological one – where the conditions which require to be in place to ensure a life of Dignity will signal/drive the Demand and in the Economy and whereby Supply will respond accordingly within taking into consideration Earth’s capacity to provide resources. This implies that in terms of resource distribution the priority will be placed on Needs over wants – and once needs are taken care of we look at what else is available to provide for people’s wants within the principle of sustainability and prevention of consequence (eg. where the providing for wants does not come at the expense of another).
It is then not so much a ‘Market-Force’ driving the Economy but a ‘Life-Force’ within placing Life as the principal point to be honoured.

Quoted from the Goods wiki page:
"Credits within an Equal Money System is only a 'word' and only serves to facilitate the allocation and movement of goods -- credits will not hold any other intrinsic value as money or credit do currently (where money is used as a 'store of value'), but only have a mathematical and accounting function. The credits within the Equal Money System will indicate the available resources, what is available for each one and accordingly credits will be allocated and then get distributed. "
The use of money is thus only a practical management tool and does not bring about the problems we experience today.
Most forms of abuse currently existent are a form of reaction towards a system that produces inequality. Within a world where some have more than others, jealousy is created where everyone would like to enjoy the same standard as those who 'have it all'. When the system does not provide access to such living standard to all equally, criminal activities will become the road to wealth. Therefore, most of the forms of abuse and exploitation we know and fear now will be no more, since there will no longer be those that have more than others. We suggest you read the Politics and Justice wiki pages for further perspective on how other forms of abuse will be dealt with in an Equal Money System.
Yes, within an Equal Money system, the group will represent the global population, wherein all agree upon the principles of Constitutional Equality. Goods and services are therefore distributed equally so that no one person or small group of individuals is placed in a position of superiority, which would open the door for abuse.
Your question in terms of who decides what is 'just dues' is answered in the goal: "Each person will have access to the Global System to review the current Status of Available Resources and to vote on effective distribution and allocation – and to place preference selections and make suggestions."
In terms of mob rule - please consult the Politics section in the Wiki where the perceived problem of the rule of the majority is addressed. The policy making process will be structured in such a way that all decisions will always reflect what is Best for All.
Please clarify which aspects require alignment, specification and expansion so that we may consider your input when expanding/specifying/adjusting the Equal Money proposal.
Please read our updated Wiki section on 'Politics' as this will give perspective to your comment.
There are many advantages in managing resource production and distribution from a centralised system - such as ensuring maximum efficiency, ensuring that areas that do not have access to certain resources are provided with them, having an overall overview of how resources are utilised to ensure nothing is wasted and production is done according to the principle of sustainable living. Therefore, instead of merely stating that 'creating Global Systems is unnecessary and have a big potential to fail' - provide us with the specific problems you see might manifest so that we can place a more comprehensive reply.
"Hello, I'm the guy that wrote 'Global System is unnecessary and have a big potential to fail' before. I'll try to explain what i meant and express myself a little bit better. Firstly, my previous vote/comment was driven by distrust. I have taken all this as an attempt to create yet another from of control over people, for which i apologize. It results from the fact that i think that until we change the quality of are consciousnes/grow up/start caring for each other/change our ways/understand who we are or whatever you want to name it, every attempt to create something Global/Centrally controlled has a "big potential to fail", because of its vulnerability to become corrupted. What we need is a new way of thinking about our reality. While being in the state of mind we are now we will hardly create anything better since we are driven by fear, which result in greed. These are my only concerns. All your goals are close to my heart and much needed, or even crucial/critical to our survival and i deeply agree with them. Now the idea of the Resource Management System, Production Management System etc. is something is VERY good, and much needed. I would, love to be a part of the team that designs, builds and implements such a system. I would even go as far as saying that, i very much feel this would be my purpose for being here on earth in this time. I hope this helped to make my intentions a bit clearer. We acknowledge that we have to go through an extensive re-education process to re-align the nature of the human to one that is actually Best for All. This change is not going to happen overnight, and specific procedures and structures will be in place in order to both prevent and correct any abuse wherever it may occur (whether institutional or individual). Herein, the principle applies that Prevention is the Best Cure. For specifics on these procedures and structures, please visit the Politics and Justice wiki pages.
Feel free to join us for discussion on the Forum and continue placing feedback on the Goals - it is through active participation and discussion that together we are able to specify and expand the Equal Money System proposal. Thank you.
Obviously, any problems manifesting on a local level as a result of the global management system must be reported so that policies may be reviewed and aligned to operate according to the Principle of what is Best for All.
It is so that the implementation of the Equal Money System goes hand in hand with a necessary reform to the Education System as well as the necessary parental education to ensure that the basic principle of Life in Equality, sustained and managed by the Equal Money System, can be an integral part of human beings to understand the responsibilities and rights that are all endowed with by mere virtue of being alive. Yes, it may seem farfetched in terms of where we are now as the Principles of Equality and what is Best for All are completely non-existent in the world today, but through political and economic socialisation processes we can educate people on their values and attitudes, place them into question and create 'open-mindedness' in terms of presenting ways of adjusting the environment in a way that would support a change in attitudes, behaviours and values.
Thus, it will be a process to get to an optimum functioning of the Equal Money System that is a reality. I suggest you inform yourself in the Wiki section of this page to then be able to provide feedback on the forum about which points you see must be reviewed within the proposals, that way we can ensure we take into consideration your observations of anything that you see would require fine tuning, which we will take into consideration accordingly.
Initially, the rich people will be exposed to the initial application of Democracy where the majority will decide and the rich will have to submit to the will of the majority. Eventually, through the evolution of Democracy to the principles of Constitutional Equality as What is Best for All, there will be no more rich people where some have more than others, instead - everyone will live a rich life.
This does not mean that the rich will become poor , they’ll just not have the ability to have people as slaves through paying them money. That will disappear. The rich will end up having to do their own cleaning themselves, their own housecleaning, their own work – everything. You’re not going to have slaves anymore that you can buy through wages or salaries like now. The rich are only what they are because of the label of slavery they’re able to impose through money and through moving people to do things, by offering them money.
The power that money has to create slaves will no longer exist.
Thanks, makes sense - we changed the title.
It’s not about someone regulating what you eat - The foods that will be available will be there because it would have gone through actual tests that show and prove that the food available is in fact supporting and assisting the body. Within this, there will be a big variety that each one can choose from.
Within the current world system there is no consideration for what supports and assists the human body in fact, products are made that taste good and that look good even though it is abusing the body, and this is where the human has proven that given free choice to choose what they Feel like eating isn’t reliable and not best for the individual or the group, as no one is Yet educated on what actually supports the body which leaves a big gap for abuse. Therefore, within the Equal Money system each individual will be tested to see what foods in fact supports their bodies to the utmost - so that each and every individual can live a healthy life. These test will include everything about each individual such as the blood type and even the DNA that was passed on.
You are confusing ‘equal’ with ‘uniformly the same’. Different people have different requirements in terms of their needs (eg. Some people require glasses to be able to see properly, while others don’t). Within that, everyone will be equally taken care of in terms of having their needs met – though what these needs consists of will differ, and as such some will get ‘more’ than others – but in the end, each one will still be sharing the same living standard.’ Just dues’ contrasts to the current living experience, where there is an extreme imbalance between the 'haves' and the 'have-nots', where many have to do with ‘less’ , simply because some decided they are worth more than others, disproportionally possess the various resources within this world. In an Equal Money System, no such greed will be allowed. Everyone is equal in terms of receiving what it is they require and would like to receive. The equal distribution of basic resources is a set matter, everyone will have access to those goods and services to meet basic necessities. In terms of how and what additionally to produce, this is a matter of decision making which is open for public discussion and voting.
Remember that within this, Equality and what is Best for All Life are the guiding principles and framework within which all political processes take place, and as such a democratic vote cannot infringe on the basic right of equal distribution and treatment. Please read our updated Wiki section on 'Politics' for further perspective on the practical application of Democracy in an Equal Money System.
Dann muss man was tun.
Man kann nicht Hier im Gewahrsein sein und das, was in der Welt akzeptiert wird und was als Leben bezeichnet wird, erlauben und zulassen. We gotta change. We gotta get real. As Life.
Es wird empfohlen, sich zu informieren und die Grundlage zu verstehen, auf der wir hier bauen, sodass man konstruktiv mitwirken kann am Ganzen. Mehr Info gibt es auf den Websites, Austausch auf den Foren.
If one assesses all that is happening on Earth, everyone is equally accountable. Whether it is through your direct action or whether it is through your acceptances and allowances of these events taking place: everyone is accountable. Therefore, Forgiveness will be the starting point – from that perspective, everyone will have to forgive each other and make a commitment to work together to produce a world that is Best for All.
And certainly, what has happened in the past will be utilised to asses ‘how’ abuse take place – and there where necessary there will be educational support, psychological support to correct the points. Re-occurring actions that result in abuse, obviously will be dealt with – but Forgiveness will be the first Step.
There is no other way, we have to stop the Cause and Effect which leads to revenge and abuse.
The money used in the Equal Money System will be in digital form.
In itself, there is nothing ‘wrong’ with fiat money – and whether money is backed up by gold or not, it is virtually the same.
Pegging the value of money to gold or silver is not a solution -- as these metals still in essence merely 'symbolise' money as value but have no other value than what we agree it to be. Within that you're merely just backing up money with a different form of money so whether you have fiat money or money backed up by gold doesn't really matter. It is not so much ‘money’ that is the problem, but rather the mechanics, equations and structures through which it flows, which render money to be distributed unequally and always favouring those who already have money – which creates the unequal distribution of wealth a fuck up.
Money will merely have a practical function to facilitate the movement of goods and services, and will hold no other intrinsic value. This would also imply, that the whole financial industry of society will dissolve, as ‘making money from money’ will become obsolete in an Equal Money System.
Currently we are focusing on designing what the Equal Money System itself would look like and how it would operate. Once we know ‘where we want to go’ we can look at how the transition would most effectively take place. One of the suggestions is to, before implementing the Equal Money System itself, to first implement a Basic Income Grant system.
Because people cannot be trusted with practically managing themselves/the world as BEST FOR ALL, a system is required to ensure the equal distribution of resources, goods and services to ALL. This in itself will stop starvation and poverty very quickly. Equal Money does not mean equal minimum for all, it means equal wealth and the best of everything (technology, food quality etc.), as we in fact have more than enough of everything for all in this world, it is however the monopolies of corporations and governments that do not allow for everything to get to everyone. Things like planned obsolescence and inflation will no longer exist, just like the control of technology which in the current system has to be updated every now and then to keep the people buying and the profit growing will no longer be necessary. An equal money system is an entirely new system that will enable the transformation of our way of life from the value of profit to the value of life.
To address your concern, I’d suggest to study in detail what is proposed for the functioning of an equal money system, because your comment shows that you have only read small bits of information and made assumptions based on past knowledge about for example Cuba. The equal money system is not communism and no individuals will be in power. Nor will we vote for individuals – instead we will vote for the matters at hand that require solutions. No one will dictate what you need or what you should have – but it should be dictated that everyone should have everything, because clearly human beings do not use their free will to bring about a world best for all.
What must also be considered is that the physical resources of the earth are not limitless, and that therefore our utilization of resources should take into consideration the whole of life, including the planet. The transition from a consumerism system to a system of life support, practicality and quality, will reduce energy consumption to 90-95%.
Obviously we are currently at the point of developing the common sense and the practicality required to run such system, and the more people participate in developing the ‘how-to’, the better. However the basic principles can be deduced simplistically looking at the consequences of the current system where life is exploited for profit and power is abused for personal interest and changing the equations of how this world functions from inequality and exploitation to equality and support for the oneness that life is.
Ultimately, all citizens of the earth must have equal rights, equal participation, equal access and equal power in all matters of practical living on this earth. This will prevent dictatorship and exploitation, which is what we currently have on earth, with atrocious consequences for the majority of living beings.
Please read the Politics wiki page for general context regarding your comment.
No individual or group of individuals will ever hold any form of 'power' or 'control' over the resources. Resources will be managed by the Constitutional Principle of Equality and what is Best for All.
Yes, it will be the biggest government known in the history of mankind - as it is an all inclusive government of all the people, where each one is directly involved in decision-making.
What you are referring to is the Law of attraction as the belief that one can manifest material possessions through imagination. The idea of law of attraction is a scam constructed by a spiritual consumer industry and it only 'works' for people who are already in a position of having access to money. A point to consider is how one within believing that the solution to the world's problems is to think our way out of it, is how one is in fact not considering the actual practical lives of those who suffer. Such a belief can and has been used to justify why people are poor as their own fault because they did not think the right thoughts.
However consider how many parents with starving children have not wished for money for food for years without end without ever having access to resources, simply because they are born in a country with little to no infrastructure or constant civil war. No matter how much or how deep a mother loves her child, she cannot manifest food on the table without money. And if the law of attraction thus only works for those who is already rich and not for everyone equally - how can it be a universal and existential 'law'? It can't.
The banking and credit card system is simply a practical structure through which money is distributed. That system is currently corrupted and dysfunctional for example within how billions of people in fact don't even have access to money, let a lone a bank or credit card, while others are playing Russian roulette with people's livelihoods through hedge-funds and stock exchange. That does however not mean that a banking and credit card system could not work in the service of all life as equal - which is exactly the point in the Equal Money System. The difference is within the starting-point of the system, where in the Equal Money System the starting-point is to create a world that is best for all in equality. The banking system will thus merely serve to facilitate that as a management and distribution service.
I suggest continuing to read up on the Equal Money System proposal at http://equalmoney.org/wiki as you're trying to merge the Equal Money proposal with the current economic system. For instance, one will not be paid for labor. Labor will be performed by students as an internship to complete their education. Afterwards, for those who develop a passion for their trade may continue with ‘labor’ as an expression of themselves in what it is that they choose to participate within giving to the community as they have received from the community.
Credits within an Equal Money System is only a 'word' and only serves to facilitate the allocation and movement of goods - credits will not hold any other intrinsic value as money or credits do currently (where money is used as a 'store of value'), but only have a mathematical and accounting function. The credits within the Equal Money System will indicate the available resources, what is available for each one and accordingly credits will be allocated and then get distributed. And thus, credits in an Equal Money System do not require to be 'backed up' by anything else.
“Allocating resources and goods to each individual in the world on an equal basis” means that each one will be provided with and made available to everything that is required for a comfortable life/living so that not one being has to suffer, struggle or exist in fear. Not only the ‘basic needs’, but also the latest of technology, so that everyone is able to learn, express and expand. That is the whole point of the equal money system: to stop the survival mode of the ‘human race’, so that we may stop racing against each-other, stop surviving, and start LIVING.
The allocation of resources, goods and services is not linked to work or the amount of contribution of an individual.
Work is a point that will be re-defined within an equal money system, as no one will have to work for survival. Therefore, a new incentive for work will emerge, where, once profit and ‘survival’/fear is out of the equation, we’ll each be able to do what we’re good at, what we enjoy, what we are interested in – thus, work will slowly but surely become a point of self-expression. Within this, real progress and real evolution may come forth, since we will no longer be limited by the interests of some ‘big bothers’, corporations and profit.
We have thus far discussed the idea of a conscription system, where – instead of going to war or doing the ‘service’ that currently each nation demands from its citizens – one will do a working service of three to four years after finishing school, wherein one will participate in the support / maintenance / expansion of the world’s infrastructure, production, services, etc. – in all possible fields, which may possibly be linked to what an individual is interested in or would like to gain an insight of, in terms of further educating oneself. After this conscription period, each one will be ‘free’ of ‘work’ but will be able to pursue self-expressions of giving to others as self has / had received from birth.
Being interested is not a matter of intelligence - it is a matter of education, in terms of the understanding how decision-making affects each one. All points will always be communicated in a clear and understandable way. If further clarification is required, questions can be asked and points can be expanded upon/worded differently for all to grasp what is being proposed. In terms of corruption - many cross-reference points will be in place where never one person can be responsible within a point of administration. Furthermore, a person can only be elected for a position of administration for a period of one year, after which someone else is elected.
Apart from that - understand that your question originates from how the current monetary system is operating where money is placed into accounts and then allocated – In the EMS the currency will mainly be focused on the human – meaning – It is the humans that will ‘make things happen’ – Thus humans are the greatest resource of the EMS.
It is humans that will plan for resources.
It is humans that will harvest the resources.
It is humans that will develop resources.
‘Diverting funds’ as a direct translation into the EMS will then mean to divert humans – And the educated humans of the EMS will directly understand what their actions are for and what results their actions will bring, corruption on this level will be very limited as the individuals participating within the projects will give themselves as a resource that will assist and support all within and as each community.
What the name of the “bank” is, does not matter, as the function of what the Bank does matters, calling it Bank currently is the simplest way to communicate the point to the public as everyone is already familiar with the word bank. So it is now a matter of simply giving the bank a new meaning/purpose, as to its functionality within the Equal Money System which will be completely different from what a bank currently is.
Yes there is a need for cards, as cards will give each person the ability to draw goods/services and to not take more than their share that is more than enough to sustain a person. It is also a matter of taking responsibility as the cards will serve as recording what it is that you require to use which is fed into the resource allocation system, to on a daily basis have record as to what is required to be produced.
The resources of the earth is limited and thus it is required to be shared amongst everyone equally to sustain us, the card will keep record and give the ability to purchase to everyone as everyone will get a card. Having the card is a practical point within the consideration of what is here on earth to be shared among all life and thus as we understand that earth has limited resources yet enough for all, the card will make sure that each being gets their share and in the process not abuse life and the resources that is/are here and how we are currently abusing life on earth because we over produce and allow people to purchase whatever they want as long as they have the money even if it means cutting down rainforests to plant more corn.
The incentive to contribute to a system of Equality is that we will all be able to share a Dignified Life, that everyone will have access to the best that is available, that nobody will have to slave 50 years of their lives to get to retirement -if they make it- to enjoy Life, as Life and the Right to Life is guaranteed from Birth to Death to everyone Equally and the New Lean Logistic system will function with the contribution of 4 to 5 years of life of each one, into a program of Internship to take on immediately after the completion of the chosen Educational Path.
The production of goods near the level of the current system will not be maintained nor required, this level is called Insanity, it serves no purpose but Money and Profit and yes Greed. Because we are sold into a system that sells us Life as experiences to buy and go and live out, promising Happiness while chaining each one to a production cycle of useless goods with inbuilt planned obsolescence so we have to keep buying, as nothing is built to last but just to keep the system going and people working like slaves.
We have enslaved ourselves to a make belief system of desires in search for an Elusive Happiness, competing to have more than the next guy to assure a Value for ourselves, having forgotten the One Value Equal for All, Life.
Everybody will understand in time to come the benefits of stepping out of this system of Greed to support Life, we are not the products/experiences we buy and go and live out to 'get Happy', we are much more than this, but we will never discover it chained to a desk or in a factory, brainwashed by education and a system that prepares us Not for Life but to be the willing cogs of the very system that is chocking everyone, some of this willingness is in your words, this will STOP within an Equal Money system once we wake up and reassess Value and our value System to realign to Oneness and Equality and What is Best for All.
Yes the Equal Money System is not a permanent system but a period of transition – where we for a moment use the Equal Money System as a tool to integrate new values and new behavioural patterns which are aligned within the principle what is best for all, and once this principle has become part of who we are in fact we can decide to let go of money, as we are only using money as a practical point of support – but once this support is no more required, we can decide to let go of money in its entirety, as we will be living Equality and the principle of What is Best for All as the Living Words.
Like bitcoins, any movement, action or transactions will be logged and publicly available on a network, which everyone can access and check -- and similar security encryption points would be in place to prevent abuse.
The BitCoins project is a cool experimental project which we can take into consideration / build upon when designing the Banking System infrastructures and systems -- though some modifications (and further research) would be required, for example:
• The anonymity point within BitCoins:
Within the Equal Money System transactions would be identifiable
• The mining concept and the rate/cap of available bitcoins:
The value of bitcoins is still fabricated/determined based on a form of scarcity -- like any other currency within this world -- instead of having a stable value as Life.
These questions are great to consider but only become valid within the implementation stage of the distribution system which is still a few years away. We suggest to get involved in educating those you have contact with to a system that supports life as we are currently in the education phase of the Equal Money System.
'We will just arrive at decisions' -- this statement removes Self and Self Responsibility completely from the equation, assuming that an ideal itself will someone 'make things happen in a way that is best'. Relying on an ideal to 'make things happen' has already been proven as a failed basis for a system - as evidenced by Communism within which the ideals themselves were not able to be practically lived in agreement by all to come to decisions that are always best for all - no matter how good people felt about the ideal.
Placing hope in an ideal is where one makes the Decision to not take Responsibility Here and now to respond to what is going on RIGHT NOW in a way that is best for all, and thus does not initiate any actual, real, lived action to produce a world that is best for all, but instead waits for an ideal to 'come true'.
The human being within the current system makes decisions based on feelings, fears, and desires within the starting point of survival and self interest as programmed from birth by a system based on survival and self interest. Each must actually take Self Responsibility to make the Decision in every moment to not allow Self to be directed or influenced by self interest - and to do this, one must have a Principle that one can practically live / apply in every moment that can stand Eternally as that which will produce a world that is best for all.
The Equal Money system is based on the understanding achieved through extensive Self Honest Self Investigation and research into the Human Psyche and the World System that is a reflection of the accepted Human Psyche, that if we simply remove money - we will have a world of human beings still trapped in self interest / survival patterning that will not simply magically know how to work together and use resources in a way that is best for all. Thus we require a monetary system where Money is made Equal for all as the means through which resources are Equally made available to All -- wherein, the Monetary system facilities the Monitoring of the allocation of resources to each, to ensure that All have what they need, and no one is being abused / deprived of what they need.
Voting is required as the means to implement a new system, as if you simply are walking around with an ideal / fantasy of a RBE in your mind, with no practical, political plan of action and no actual, structured, developed system prepared to be implemented immediately through using the infrastructure / system that is already here so that LIfe can immediately be supported, then you have no power to make a difference, as those with power are those with money and political positions. The Equal Money system is a real, actual system that is based on the logistics of how to, very rapidly, transform the current system into a system that supports all Life. This will be voted for by the majority in this world who are those with not enough money for a decent life. Those without money cannot afford to spend time thinking about ideals - they need a practical solution NOW.
Eventually, when the survival / fear / self interest patterning of Humanity has been removed and each can SEE that a system that is best for all is actually best for themselves as an individual, money will become unnecessary as a monitoring system. But first, we require a system to be in place within which Humanity can be trained to understand how to work with the Earth, with Animals, with Each Other in establishing a functionally effective relationship that produces what is best for all.
Your response is typical as a product of what the current economic system has created – No one wants to work and why should we it is all just a chase after wind – We go nowhere while someone else keeps on making the profit.
Within the Equal Money System one’s basic necessities are met and through this there is an understanding that for the system to work it requires participants.
We receive our water, our electricity our food through those that are participating within the system and this is where the 4 year internship comes in where each person is trained to deal with and handle specific functions that enable the system to function. Within the internship we are taught that in order for us to receive we have to give to one another. It is within the internship where each person will be able to identify that which they have a passion for and would like to develop as an expression of themselves – So – If your interests are within playing computer games you can develop your skills within this industry as you would have found the expression where you are able to give to others that which you enjoy expressing the most.
Please read the comment again - the proposal is not to use a banking system. The proposal is to utilise the infrastructure that is currently used by banks, for the purpose of managing the Logistical System. Banks as they exist today won't exist anymore in an Equal Money System.
There is no form of control here as each one is able to participate in the determining of how goods should be distributed and can make suggestions on what goods should be produced. The Logistical System will operate automatically as much as possible so as to prevent abuse by humans to further their own self-interest.
Also remember that no-one will ever be allowed to work in a position of influence for longer than 1 year to further prevent corruption. In terms of the 'object as a representation of work performed' - not sure what you're referring to here as this doesn't form part of the Equal Money proposal. I suggest that you read the Wiki page on 'Labour' to gain clarity on the point of not requiring to 'earn your living' in an Equal Money System.
You are basin your judgement on the corrupt system as it is now - Have you considered this point without preconception? Your words indicate that you do not want to take responsibility for this mess we have created together - in order to fix this mess we need to work together by not accepting and allowing the abusive system to continue. Living alone on an island is simply self interest.
What isn’t being taken into consideration within this is the innumerable points/parts that must work together so that one is able to build/grow – the action of building/growing is not a separate action, or a more superior action, than all the other points/parts that are in play when doing a particular action. Thus, all that is here we are inextricably connected to, but at the moment we have a system which doesn’t acknowledge this, so the consequence/outflow is that of competition, survival, fear, separation, suffering and abuse – because we believe we are ‘entitled’ to something just because we took part in a particular aspect of its manifestation, not considering that nothing rightfully belongs to us, but is here for us to utilize for a moment so as to ensure a world which is enjoyable to Live in for everyone, simply due to the sheer fact that all the resources have been given unconditionally by the Earth, and as such are not one single persons to claim, but are here for us all to equally have access to and benefit from.
That is precisely what the Equal Money System will ensure, so as to end self-interest and the desire to ‘do it our own way’ so that we can instead humble ourselves and work together equally unconditionally as this Earth to create a world that is best for all.
It does have several similarities to the Shariah Financial System wherein money has no intrinsic value and only stands as a means to distribute the resources – economically called ‘assets’ – in equal ways, which means that money stands as an administrative tool rather than a value in itself as it currently exists in the capitalist system. Though, there will be no investments or trade possible in terms of being able to generate any form of profit – hence there will be no generation of ‘wealth’ as the principle of Equality implies that Life is the only value.
This stems from the realization that there can be no profit implied and deriving from giving and receiving life as a right that all human beings must be unconditionally endowed with. From the perspective of the Shariah system stemming from religion, within the Equal Money System there is one single principle that will provide the foundation for all policies and regulations within an Equality Banking System: one cannot make any form of profit from giving/ receiving life – thus there is no private property and no capitalization of goods to generate profits and eventual shares.
The goal is to use money as a means to administrate the resources available and using a mathematical system to ensure that transparency within the allocation of goods takes place through providing the necessary access to the required goods/ services to live – all of this within the consideration that wanting more than what you need is greed, and because of the Equal Money System standing first and foremost as a living-system that values only life in equality, the education of the human being is and will be part of the methods to ensure that the banking system is understood as a mere structure to ensure equal-quality living through managing the distribution of resources/ services for all in equality.
This practically means that the banking system will not take any function to gain from investments through capitalizing any form of money, as money will truly only exist as a tool to give and receive in a fair and self honest manner to live in dignity, provided in the way that the goal above specifies.
Further perspectives: Shariah Banking system
What’s not understood is that we are able to effectively and accurately calculate how much we produce. Within the current system this is already being done, only it’s not being done to calculate how much we need to produce to ensure everyone gets what they need, but rather it is calculated in order to maximize profit.
An assumption that many are under is that since there are people starving and in lack, it must be because there is not enough, that what we produce is not enough for everyone, and it’s not, but this is done deliberately. It is not because there are not enough resources or available labor. In the current system, lack is deliberately created and allowed, in order to create enough ‘demand’ for the products, so that they can be sold at as high a price as possible in order to make the maximum profit. Thus food, goods and services are not produced according to the actual need of each and every individual, but according to how to get the most profit for them. For example, in the U.S., farmers lobby the American government to subsidize their crops / buy their crops off them (sometimes even the majority of their crops) to ensure a high income. This manifests a point of “surplus” which then gets dumped in underdeveloped countries and then distorts the market there – where as a result the farmers of the underdeveloped countries can’t get their food sold and have to join in on the food-aid lines.
So what must be understood, is that there is not only one car in the U.S, or one loaf of bread in China- there is a deliberate and calculated amount of cars and loaves. Thus in the Equal Money System, we will calculate, produce, and distribute according to actual need. In terms of 'shortages' It will not be difficult to calculate and produce more than enough of what is required to ensure that no one goes without. Shortages have been the result of deliberate negligence.
Another assumption often made, is that what we currently produce is how much we actually consume as individuals, when actually most of it is consumed within processes that are grossly inefficient, as they’re not done in terms of what is most effective/practical/sustainable, but in terms of what is 'cheapest' for a company in terms of how much money they have to spend or can avoid spending. Such as, materials being imported from a country where the labor is cheap, using ships that are made out of thousands of tons of steel and take thousands of gallons of oil to travel across oceans, and the labor required to man the ships and maintain them, to another country that has skilled laborers who can manufacture/process the materials, for the cheapest cost, into goods/products that can be sold on the retail market, and then shipped again, to an elite market where the products can be sold to those who can pay the most for them.
So you can see that within the current Capitalist system, the focus is on profit, while people are deliberately allowed to suffer without their needs. Thus, the point to realize, is that we have now all the capability to be providing for everyone effectively ensuring that all get access to what they need, and none go without. It is just simply not being done within the current system, because the current system is based on profit, in disregard of life, and thus 2/3 of the entire Earth’s population is allowed to exist in poverty, for the sake of companies being able to maximize profit.
In the Equal Money System we will use the capabilities we already have and actually use them to support life, as how it could be and should be done already.
Within the Equal Money system we are proposing, understand that the system will function by having everyone's needs met. It will be there to provide for you. Resources will be allocated to everyone. A system which actually cares for you, unlike the current systems we have in place. So with regards to the point you were looking at where an accident or unforeseen circumstance occurs where one is then left unable to contribute for a period of time.
There are two parts to the Equal Money system. The first is where you are to participate within The Internship System for a period of 4 years as your contribution towards the Equal Money System. If you fall ill during this time you will still be expected to complete your internship after you regained your health.
If you are unable to complete your allocated internship due to specific health conditions a new internship will be allocated to you that you are able to contribute towards that falls within the range that you are able to participate within the system.
The second part of the system is where you have completed your internship and have decided to participate within the Equal Money System as a member of your society where you give your labour to the community as an expression of who you are. When falling ill during this period you are merely not available to the system. The system is not dependent on you to contribute, but yet you will be taken care of in an Equal Money System.
Understand that the new system is not going to be anything like the current system. Currently we are driven by our fear to survive, because we know that if something were to happen to us which would render us unable to work, we would not receive an income and therefore we would not be able to support ourselves to be able to live effectively with having our needs met. The current system does not care for the individual as life as can be clearly seen within our reality as it is now. What we propose is a completely new system which is set up in the best interest for all so that all are able to live a happy, healthy and dignified life. A system which cares for each individual as life, in fact.
With regards to your question 'how is this decided?' in relation to management and distribution of resources. Here mathematicians will be assigned to work out specific formulas to implement what we are looking at through equations based on what is best for all and not on self-interest as is the case with our current economic system. Specific documents of policy implementation will be drafted for public voting, ensuring that all are part of the decision-making process towards the establishment of a world which is truly best for all.
With the Life Card - if the system even ends up using an actual 'card' - which is as yet not definitively known, there will be nothing about it to exploit, from the perspective that in itself it has no value. The Life Card functions as a tool to facilitate each individual access to what they require. No one person will have 'more' access than another, and no person will have 'less' access than another. The only prerequisite to having a Life Card, is that you are here, alive on Earth. If such a card exists and is lost - it will simply be replaced - there is no 'bureaucracy' within the equation of supporting life.
I will also point out again that you are creating an issue with an aspect of the Equal Money system that has not been fully developed - in terms of the form the specific means through which individual access to one's basic needs will take. The very principle of the Equal Money System dictates that no person will be able to be exploited - and so your reference to the way things work in the current system has no bearing on the policy you are disagreeing with.
Obviously you've had 'bad experiences' with the department of motor vehicles, referring to some card related to the department of motor vehicles within the current capitalist system which is not relevant to the actual topic here.
If you are disagreeing with something here, I suggest that rather than giving criticism based on your own reactions / bad experiences to the current system, you take responsibility for the point here and contribute by doing research, considering what is best for all, and supporting by giving constructive input regarding how the 'Life Card' system could be designed.
We suggest to read through the wiki pages where the answer to the question: Isn’t Equal Money just another name for Communism? Was answered. Through understanding the difference between communism and the Equal Money System, One can clearly see that a System that is based on the Principle of ‘What is Best for All’ was never applied before and thus, we cannot give up by stating that the Establishment of the Equal Money System will not work due to failure of the actions that were taken in the past, which were based on Blame, Self-Interest and Separation.
If you observe your comment, you will notice that you are equating a banking system with loans, as it exists within the current money-banking system. In the Equal Money System, there will be no loans and there will be no money drawn from a bank. The banking system infrastructure as it is indicated within the Goal stated above will be used as a logistical system through which we will manage and allocate resources and goods to each individual. To learn more about the distribution system: http://equalmoney.org/wiki/Goods#Distribution_of_Goods
Realize that the Equal Money System itself will function as an interim system, using what is here already to transition from the old system to the Equal Life System, at which point we will already be living and applying ourselves in a functional manner, within the principle of what is best for all. Therefore we utilize what is here already and will use the banking system to our advantage as it already exists as a logistical network and database of information.
Labeling EMS as a form of communism is done when one wants to quickly jump to a conclusions and make one's mind within the confines of one's current knowledge, experience, education, beliefs and world view without the will and effort to expand and educate yourself when presented with something new.
If we take a look at some of the present communist regimes we can see that the ideals of equality proposed in the marxist theories are just that, an ideal, written somewhere, but completely ignored by the system and it's establishment, not lived and applied into practical application that would be best for all.
Every country within this world has to function with and within the rest of the world which is governed by the principle of capitalism, where the generation and maximization of profit is the number one guiding principle. This dictates the functioning of the system as a ruthless machine where many have to work for the benefit of a few that are in, seeming, control.
Therefore if one country labels itself as communistic, professes that it stands by and applies certain ideals, this is only a facade for the eyes and sugar for the mouths of the public while in reality everyone has to abide by the rule of money. The outflows then are those of abuse, starvation, war and conflict just as it was in the past in any kind of regime and as it is currently, where 25,000 people die every day of hunger or hunger-related causes, while the most powerful and dominant countries label themselves as benevolent, democratic, god-abiding, yet the reality of this world completely denies any such principle being existent and really applied.
So saying that communism caused abuse and therefore any proposition that is similar within it's concept from the perspective of working with the principle of Equality is invalid - is to completely ignore the real workings of this world and the system within and as it.
